Camp Vicente L. Pimentel Sr., Tandag City – June 26, 2025 – Authorities successfully apprehended a most wanted person facing rebellion charges, identified as a Top 1 Regional Level fugitive under Manhunt Charlie, in a joint operation conducted this morning in Barangay Saint Christine, Lianga.

At approximately 11:50 AM, personnel from the Lianga Municipal Police Station (MPS), led by Police Captain Eric V. Dangate, Acting Chief of Police, together with the Regional Intelligence Division 13, executed a targeted operation resulting in the arrest of a.k.a “Ret-ret” 48 years old, a married farmer and resident of Purok 7, Barangay Saint Christine, Lianga, Surigao del Sur.

“Ret-ret” was arrested by virtue of an outstanding Warrant of Arrest issued by the Acting Presiding Judge, 11th Judicial Region, Branch 28, Lianga, Surigao del Sur, dated October 1, 2021. He is wanted for the crime of Rebellion, with no recommended bail.

Upon his arrest, “Ret-ret” was promptly informed of his constitutional rights. He is currently under the custody of Lianga MPS for proper disposition, pending further legal proceedings.
