In a decisive anti-illegal drug operation, law enforcement authorities successfully arrested newly identified pusher (SLI), through a buy-bust operation in Barangay San Agustin Sur, Tandag City.
At approximately 8:30 PM, personnel from the Tandag City Police Station (CCPS), conducted the operation in coordination with the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA).
PCOL HARRY B DOMINGO, Provincial Director, identified the arrested suspect as a.k.a., “Pete”, a 46-year-old, carpenter and resident of Barangay San Agustin Sur.

He was apprehended and duly informed of his rights under the Miranda Doctrine and Anti-Torture Warning.
Confiscated Items:
- Six (6) heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets containing a white crystalline substance suspected to be shabu, with an estimated weight of 3 grams and an estimated street value of PHP 20,400.00.
- One (1) piece One Thousand Peso bill with serial number PH237720 (buy-bust money).
- One (1) unit Samsung keypad cellular phone.
- One (1) open transparent plastic sachet.
The search was conducted in an orderly manner in the presence of the Barangay Kagawad of Barangay San Agustin Sur, DOJ representative, and a media representative.
The suspect and confiscated items were brought to Tandag CCPS for proper disposition and further investigation.
