On May 2, 2025, at approximately 9:14 PM, personnel from the Surigao del Sur Provincial Drug Enforcement Unit (SDS PDEU), in coordination with Bislig City Police Station (CCPS) and the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA-SDS), successfully carried out a buy-bust operation targeting illegal drug activities in Purok 3, Central District, Barangay Mangagoy, Bislig City, Surigao del Sur.
PCOL HARRY B DOMINGO, Provincial Director, identified the arrested suspect as:
- A.k.a, “Eman”, male, married, 49 years old, resident of Purok 3, Central District, Barangay Mangagoy, Bislig City, Surigao del Sur, newly identified pusher listed as Street-Level Individual (SLI).
- A.k.a, “Tony”, male, married, 31 years old, ex-PNP member (AWOL), resident of Purok 5, John Bosco, Barangay Mangagoy, Bislig City, Surigao del Sur, newly identified pusher listed as High-Value Individual (HVI).
- A.k.a, “Leng”, female, single, 28 years old, businesswoman, resident of Purok 4, Central District, Barangay Mangagoy, Bislig City, Surigao del Sur, newly identified pusher listed as Street-Level Individual (SLI).
Upon arrest, the suspects were informed of their rights under the Miranda doctrine and Anti-Torture Warning.

Confiscated Items
Authorities also seized the following items during the operation:
- 40 grams of suspected shabu (estimated street value: Php 272,000.00)
- Buy-bust money (Php 1,000.00)
- Digital weighing scale
- Assorted drug paraphernalia (including aluminum foils, tooters, lighters, plastic sachets, and containers)
- Mobile phone and personal items
The inventory and documentation of the confiscated items were conducted in the presence of the Barangay Kagawad of Barangay Mangagoy, Bislig City, and a media representative.
