Supporting the COMELEC’s firm stand against disinformation, Surigao del Sur Police Provincial Director Harry B. Domingo, reaffirmed the Philippine National Police’s full support in investigating the individuals or groups behind the malicious online narrative. He emphasized that the PNP is closely coordinating with COMELEC and relevant authorities, including the Cybercrime Division, to trace the origin of the misleading content and ensure that those responsible are held accountable under the law.

Meanwhile, COMELEC informs the public that stringent security measures are being enforced at all designated storage sites, and the arrival and movement of election materials remain transparent and open for monitoring. This commitment is part of the agency’s broader effort to safeguard the integrity of the May 2025 National and Local Elections.
